Mill Rates

The 2024 budget incorporated significant increases to Provincial education requisitions, as well as for seniors housing requisitions, and RCMP funding. Inflationary pressures were also evident in the budgeted amounts. Strong market growth within Foothills County offset these increased costs, thereby facilitating a reduction in the 2024 residential mill rate. Tax changes for individual properties will depend on the change to the assessed value of the property.
